David Wu joins QBO as Advisor and Investor
Chief Digital Officer at Netskope, and the founding engineer who became Riverbed’s CTO.
David is currently Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Netskope, where he has helped guide the company through its journey to IPO. Previously, he was a founding engineer at Riverbed Technology, where he went on to become CTO and helped lead the company to IPO. His experience building enterprise technology from the ground up and scaling companies through significant growth brings a valuable perspective to QBO.
At Riverbed he developed the initial architecture for the Steelhead WAN optimization appliance and the Riverbed Optimization System (RIOS). Before that he was Senior Engineering Manager at Inktomi, which he joined through its acquisition of FastForward Networks. He holds ten issued patents and thirty-three pending, in networking, programming languages and databases, and studied Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at UC Berkeley.
I'm excited about what QBO is building and the opportunity ahead. Having spent my career building and scaling enterprise technology companies, I recognize the importance of simplifying complex infrastructure and making technology more efficient. QBO is tackling an important challenge, and I'm looking forward to supporting the team as an advisor and investor as they turn their vision into reality.
