Hansang Bae joins QBO as Advisor and Investor
Three decades of building and operating networks at global scale, now helping us build the infrastructure AI actually runs on.
Hansang brings three decades of building and operating networks at global scale. As Director of Network Services at Citi, he designed, ran and monitored the bank's global network. A well-known protocol analyst and troubleshooter, he served on the first board of the Wireshark open-source project. Most recently he was Public Sector CTO for Zscaler Government Solutions, and before that held executive roles at Riverbed and Netskope.
Everyone thinks of AI as an ephemeral 'thing' that just exists, much like the early days of cloud compute. But it takes real work and effort to build and, more importantly, to operate AI infrastructure. QBO lets you instantiate that infrastructure anywhere you choose. If intellectual property or sensitive data is involved, build it entirely on-premises. Build it in one of the hyperscalers if you prefer. Build it at the tactical edge if the mission calls for it. And connect and disconnect fully functioning instances on a whim. That's exciting, and that's why I became an advisor and investor.
