Dr. Ron Ritchey is a cybersecurity and AI leader with three decades of experience securing critical infrastructure for governments and the world's largest financial institutions. He held Distinguished Engineer roles at both Barclays and JPMorgan Chase, serving as a CISO at Barclays and as global lead for cyber architecture at JPMorgan, and was Chief Scientist for Information Security at Bank of America.
An active researcher, speaker, and author, Ron holds a doctorate in Information Technology, multiple U.S. patents, and has co-authored seven books and eleven peer-reviewed papers on cybersecurity.
I took on QBO because their self-contained, bare-metal architecture is built for a shift that's already underway. Regulation, audit pressure, and geopolitical fragmentation are converging: sovereign, private AI is moving from preference to regulatory requirement, and the timeline isn't theoretical anymore.
